1. Your Role as a Mentor

As a YourPrepBro mentor, you are a guide, a role model, and a source of support for aspiring NEET/JEE students. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing personalized academic guidance and study strategies based on your own successful experiences.
  • Offering emotional support and motivation to help students navigate the pressures of exam preparation.
  • Maintaining regular communication with your assigned mentees through our platform's chat and call features.
  • Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in all interactions.

2. Payment and Payouts

We believe in fairly compensating our mentors for their valuable time and effort. Our payment structure is as follows:

  • Payments are calculated on a pro-rata basis for each day a student is assigned to you within their monthly subscription cycle.
  • To receive payments, you MUST provide accurate bank account details in your "My Payments" section. This includes your full name as per bank records, account number, IFSC code, bank name, and PAN number.
  • If your bank details are incomplete or incorrect, your payments will be held until the information is corrected. We are not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate information.
  • Payouts are processed monthly, typically within the first 15 days of the following month, for the previous month's completed mentorships.

3. Resignation and Off-boarding

We understand that circumstances can change. If you wish to discontinue your mentorship, we require a formal notice.

  • To ensure a smooth transition for your students and to be eligible for your final payment, you must provide a notice of at least **2-3 business days** before leaving.
  • Failure to provide adequate notice may result in forfeiture of any pending payments for the ongoing cycle.
  • Abruptly leaving without notice is considered a breach of our terms and will result in immediate termination and ineligibility for any outstanding payments.

4. Code of Conduct & Work Ethics

You are expected to maintain a professional, respectful, and supportive environment at all times.

  • **Zero-Tolerance Policy:** We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment, bullying, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing explicit content, making unwanted advances, or using abusive language.
  • **Consequences of Misconduct:** Any report of misconduct will trigger a formal investigation. If you are found guilty, your mentor profile will be **deleted immediately**. You will forfeit all pending payments, and YourPrepBro reserves the right to take appropriate legal action as per Indian law.
  • **Confidentiality:** You must respect the privacy of your mentees. Sharing their personal information, academic performance, or any private conversations outside the platform is strictly prohibited.

5. Mentor Switch System

Students have the flexibility to switch mentors to find the best fit for their needs. As a mentor, you will be part of this system.

  • You will receive notifications when a student requests to be mentored by you. You will have the option to accept or decline these requests based on your capacity and specialization.
  • If a student switches away from you, your payment for that student will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for the days you mentored them in that cycle.

6. Feedback and Warning System

To maintain a high standard of mentorship, we have a feedback and warning system in place.

  • Students will rate and provide anonymous feedback on your mentorship. This is used to calculate your overall rating.
  • In cases of minor policy breaches or consistent negative feedback, the review team may issue an official warning. These warnings are documented and must be acknowledged by you.
  • Repeated warnings may lead to a temporary suspension or permanent termination of your mentor profile.
