1. Service Overview
YourPrepBro offers a digital mentorship subscription service connecting students ("mentees") with peer mentors. Our service is subscription-based, providing access to mentorship and platform features for a specified period (e.g., monthly). This policy outlines the terms for cancellation and refunds.
2. Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your subscription at any time. However, the cancellation will only take effect at the end of your current billing period.
- How to Cancel: You can manage your subscription and cancel it from the "Subscription" section within your account dashboard.
- Effect of Cancellation: Upon cancellation, you will continue to have full access to your mentor and all subscription features until the last day of your current paid subscription period. No further charges will be made to your account after the current period ends.
3. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of our digital service and immediate access to mentorship and resources upon payment, we have a strict **no-refund policy**. All subscription payments are final and non-refundable.
- No Refunds for Partial Use: We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial-month subscription periods or for any unused time if you cancel your subscription before the end of the billing cycle.
- No Refunds for Dissatisfaction: While we strive to provide the best possible mentorship experience, we do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with a mentor. We encourage you to use the "Mentor Switching" feature if you feel your current mentor is not the right fit. You are allowed a limited number of switches per subscription period as outlined in our Terms of Service.
- Exceptional Circumstances: Refunds will only be considered in cases of documented technical failure or billing errors on our part. To request a refund under these circumstances, you must contact our support team at yourprepbro@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction, providing proof of the error. All such requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
4. Mentor Unavailability
In the rare event that your assigned mentor becomes unavailable for an extended period (e.g., due to personal emergency), we will work with you to assign a new mentor of your choice at no additional cost for the remainder of your subscription period. This situation does not qualify for a refund.
5. Policy Changes
YourPrepBro reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our website. Your continued use of our service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
