1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to YourPrepBro. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the YourPrepBro mobile application, website (yourprepbro.com), and all related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by YourPrepBro ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the Service's registration form.

3. Code of Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Post or share any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. This includes a strict zero-tolerance policy for nudity, sexual content, bullying, hate speech, and harassment.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
  • Share personal contact information (phone numbers, addresses, social media handles) in public community spaces.

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in immediate account suspension or termination without a refund.

4. Mentorship Services

  • Disclaimer: Mentors on YourPrepBro are students from various colleges who have cleared competitive exams. They are peer guides, not certified teachers, professional counselors, or medical professionals. Their guidance is based on their personal experiences and should not be considered professional academic or mental health advice.
  • Interaction: All interactions between students and mentors must occur within the platform. Exchanging personal contact information to communicate off-platform is a violation of these Terms for both parties.
  • Mentor Switching: Students may request to switch mentors subject to the platform's switching policy, which may include limitations on frequency and timing.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including the YourPrepBro logo, text, graphics, AI-generated content, and software, is the property of YourPrepBro or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Service without our express written permission.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall YourPrepBro, its affiliates, directors, or employees, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Your City, Your State], India.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
